The city of Danville and its former city manager, Paul Stansbury have been negotiating his release agreement since shortly after he was terminated and last Friday, they came to an agreement. Stansbury will get a total of about 116 thousand dollars, which includes a year's salary, benefits and contributions to his retirement. Mayor Bernie Hunstad said that when Stansbury was let go, there were many reasons for his termination, and that it was time to move on. Danville has an interim city manager and is looking for its next permanent city manager.
